I provide experienced veterinary relief and surgical services for small-animal practices located more than 12 miles from Anderson, South Carolina.

Whether your clinic needs coverage for a vacation, conference, staffing shortage, busy period, or an experienced veterinarian to assist with more advanced surgical cases, my goal is simple: step into your practice, work efficiently with your team, and help you provide excellent patient care.

Veterinary Relief Services (Dogs Only)

Relief coverage is available for established small-animal practices needing temporary veterinary support.

  • Dogs Only

  • General small-animal medicine

  • Sick and injured patient care

  • Routine medical appointments

  • General practice case management

  • Half-day or full-day coverage

I am comfortable working within an established practice's protocols, workflow, medical standards, and support team.

Surgical Services (Dogs Only)

I also provide advanced canine surgical support for veterinary practices that want to keep appropriate surgical cases in-house without permanently adding another veterinarian or referring every advanced case.

Advanced Orthopedic Surgery

Services may include:

  • Cranial Cruciate Ligament Repair

    • Lateral Suture Stabilization w/ joint eval + meniscal release - $4,000

    • Arthrex TightRope CCL - $5,500

  • Medial Patellar Luxation Repair - $4,000 - w/ CCL- $6,000

  • Selected orthopedic procedures

  • Joint exploration and appropriate intra-articular treatment

  • Surgical case evaluation and patient selection

Appropriate case selection is important. Cases better suited for procedures such as a TPLO or specialty-level orthopedic care will be referred to a specialist.

Advanced Soft-Tissue Surgery

Services may include:

  • Mass and tumor removal with appropriate surgical margins - $2,500 and up

  • Mast Cell Tumor (a special service) with wide / deep margins - $4,500

  • Splenectomy - $5,000

  • Gastropexy - $3,000

  • Enterotomy - $4,000 - $7,000

  • Gastrointestinal foreign-body surgery - $4,000 - $7,000

  • Exploratory laparotomy - $2,000

  • Cystotomy - $4,000

  • Obese / Complicated Ovariohysterectomy - $2,500

  • Cesarean section - $6,000

  • Complex wound / reconstructive procedures - $5,000 and up

  • Other selected advanced soft-tissue surgeries (call for price)

Surgical services are intended to complement the care already provided by the primary veterinarian. Cases are evaluated individually based on the patient, procedure, available equipment, staffing, anesthesia capabilities, and postoperative needs.

Relief Rates

Half Day (non-surgical) — $3,000

Designed for practices needing veterinary coverage for a shorter clinical shift or portion of the day.

Full Day (non-surgical) — $5,000

Full-day veterinary coverage to help maintain normal appointments, patient care, and clinic operations.

Emergency Shifts - $1,200/hr.

Surgical Pricing

Some procedures are ball-park quoted below and some surgical services are quoted individually based on the procedure and level of involvement required.

Options may include:

  • Surgeon-only services

  • Surgical assistance and case support

  • Procedure-specific contracting

  • Multiple surgical cases scheduled on the same day

The host practice provides the facility, anesthesia, support staff, hospitalization, medications, and routine postoperative care unless otherwise arranged.
